For over 55 years, we have been manufacturing components with passion – whether as individual pieces or in series – for companies in the fields of toolmaking, fixture construction, precision mechanics, and mechanical engineering. And with great success: Our parts are in use worldwide!
Our headquarters are in Tuchenbach near Fürth, where over 120 skilled professionals put their know-how to work every day. What makes us strong? The combination of a motivated team, state-of-the-art CNC machining centers, and customers from future-oriented industries such as 3D printing, semiconductor manufacturing, power plant construction, aerospace, and medical and sensor technology.

1967 Ottmar Buchberger founded his company in a garage in Nuremberg, where he produced small parts for Grundig AG using a transmission lathe and a drill press.
1978 After a brief period in Burgfarrnbach, the company’s headquarters were moved to Tuchenbach, where we are still located today.
1988 A new manufacturing facility was built with over 2,500 m² of production space.
1997 The company received its first ISO 9001 certification.
2000 Completion of the large-scale milling facility (1500 m²).
2001 Facility expansion of approximately 1000 m² for the large-scale turning facility.
2007 Acquisition of a 3000 m² warehouse.
2009 Conversion of a 1,200 m² manufacturing facility dedicated to small-part machining.
2012 Management is handed over to the second generation of the Buchberger family. Bernd, Bruno, and Michael Buchberger see it as their responsibility to uphold the company’s philosophy and its high standards of quality.
2017 To mark its 50th anniversary, Buchberger reveals a new logo and announces another expansion of its production and administration facilities at the Tuchenbach site.
2020 Company expansion: 1,200 m² of production space and 300 m² of administration space. Buchberger’s production area now covers 5,000 m² (1.24 acres) on a 15,500 m² (3.83 acres) company site.
